He’s been using Sudafed PE, Motrin (about 8 a day), and today he took Robitussin, too (it doesn’t have the same ingredients as the Sudafed). He couldn’t go to the doctor today. Hopefully he can go tomorrow. What might this be though? We live in VA and he hasn’t been out of state for a couple months. I was in TN last week… maybe I carried something home with me?

bronchitis or a lung problem or pneumonia–probably needs an antibiotic

Sinus infection. I get them all the time. If he feels a burning sensation like in the back of his nose, most likely it is sinusitis, they will give him antibiotics for it. He really needs to go to the doctor though.

i had the same symptoms a while back…and i went the e.r and they told me i had bronchitis….they gave me a prescription for mucinex which you can buy at most stores…it worked really good…quick too…i also was given antibiotics and a shot in my behind…if it is gettin that bad he should go to the doc asap just in case…my son had pneumonia around the same time i had bronchitis …and it was a long hard 2 weeks to get over it..he was actually hospitalized b/c he was only 6mths at the time…but also warm tea with honey helps a sore throat…
