*~sweetie~* asked:
i had a cold this weekend that started out a sore throat, then a horrible sore throat and cough, then headaches(along with the throat and cough), then congestion, then runny nose, and now I have had horrible stomachaches off and on today. no fever. i am recovering from another hour long episode of being doubled over. is this the beginning stages of the stomach flu? if it is, what do i do?

This sounds like just some drainage upsetting your stomach, try eating something or drinking something to help absorb the drainage in the stomach. Possibly take something to dry up the drainage as well.

Sinus Pressure
No such thing as stomach flu. Influenza is a respiratory illness. It could be that you have RSV and not a cold. It is the season for RSV. The “stomachaches” may actually be intestinal gas and this would be coincidental and have nothing to do with a URI. Treat your symptoms: Chloraseptic anesthetic throat spray & lozenges, a multi-symptom cough formula (to suppress the cough, decongest and manage pain) and a simethicone product to break up the gas. Any chance you’re lactose intolerant?
