My left side of my face swelled up two days ago and I went to the dentist and she said I had Gingivitis. She gave me some pain killers and antibiotics but I have been having this really bad pressure headache like a sinus headache. Are these headaches associated with the Gingivitis?

Also, I have been taking the medicine for 1 day, how long does it take for the swelling to go down? I have been using Listerine, will that help with the swelling?

I have been in extreme pain from a toothache on the top left hand side. It has now started to affect my sinuses…feel pressure and squirt like feeling in my nose. What could this be? I went to dentist Fri and he said it was not infected and scheduled and endodontist to do the root canal on Tue. Wish it could be sooner.
