He’s 25, at his goal weight, and typically very healthy. For about a week, his sinuses have been very congested & he’s had headaches. About 2 days ago, he mentioned that his chest was getting congested as well. Last night, he was coughing so hard and gasping for air that I honestly thought he might have pneumonia or something. He HAD to work today, all day, by himself. Around noon, he started losing his voice. Now he can barely even whisper. =( His mucus has been green, but he hasn’t had any fever.

He’s been using Sudafed PE, Motrin (about 8 a day), and today he took Robitussin, too (it doesn’t have the same ingredients as the Sudafed). He couldn’t go to the doctor today. Hopefully he can go tomorrow. What might this be though? We live in VA and he hasn’t been out of state for a couple months. I was in TN last week… maybe I carried something home with me?

However, I also have a sharp pain above/behind my right ear and into the base of my head. Could this be caused by sinus problems too? What type of pain can sinus problems be responsible for? I have been reading and reading advice on here about sinus issues. I have given up completely on over the counter meds after trying and using them for several years and not getting any help except maybe decongestants.

for the past few weeks I get a horrible headache behind my nose over my eyebrows and I feel nauseaus. I feel dizzy. I usually can to the sinus wash to alleive pressure but now its not really helping.

I feel so helpless becuase all I want to do is lay down and its killing my self esteem making me feel lazy. The dizziness can get pretty severe and I can feel the pressure in my teeth.

One thing that does seem to help is I have one of those nutrugena exfoliating machines. If I use it and press it up against my ears and forehead it feels so good.

I just got some of that vicks and put it on the stove and that seems to help some.

I am really worried because we are getting a few rooms painted tommorow and know from my past that it gives me big headache
Just one more thing, I know that I do have allergies, I am allergic to several outdoor things and it seems like the most lethal one is mold. And we are in the middle of a serious drought so its really dry here.

My sinuses are killing me! I woke up with a tremendous sinus headache that hurts from my nose up to my eyes. My right nostril is stuffed up but my left nostril is clear. I took 2 motrin sinus headache/decongestant pills about an hour ago but so far it isn’t helping much. I have a long day ahead of me at work.

I really want to go to the movies with my friends tonight, but I have a cold.

I had a stuffed up nose and a sinus headache.

I took musinex and I’m drinking hot green tea.

And it seems to have helped because my headache is almost completely gone, and now my nose isn’t stuffed up, it’s just running.

What else can I do to feel better so I can go?

At least that’s what i think it is. It’s midnight, I have to be at school in the morning, but I am having terrible pressure in my head. Seems like a sinus thing, behind my eyes and stuff. but it’s moved to the top of my head. Not a lot of pain, dull aching here and there, mostly just a pressure and what feels like the drunk spins. I’ve had a sinus problem this past week, I can feel crap dripping down my throat, and burning nasal passages, but surprisingly no stuffy nose or anything.
Can anyone assure me that this is typical of a sinus problem (had bad sinuses my whole life) and that I’m not having an aneurism or something?
