I know for a fact that advil does not work, while sinus medicine has had work to an extent, usually if my headache last more than a day, the over the counter sinus medicine does not work.

I got checked out about 2/3 years ago when it was at its worse, it has gotten better, but it still happens usually every few months.

Yea last year the doctor said I had sinusitis but this happens all the time. Can I be getting sinusitis after every cold.

From what I understand it is basically a teapot and you pour a solution up your nose and it comes out the other side of your nose and drains your sinuses.

Does this work? Have you all used it? Did it make you feel better?

For the last few weeks i have been getting a blocked nose most mornings when i wake up and it really just wont go away, im pretty sure its giving me headaches most days. I asked my doctor and he recommended over the counter allergy tables, they work great at getting rib of the blocked nose but make me very sleepy. But i checked the pollen count today and its very low, but i still have the blocked nose and headache, is my problem allergy at all? Can anyone recommend any other treatments?

also, while my face is red, it feels like its burning. i can feel the sinus pressure while all of this is going on.

I donate blood on a regular basis, at least once a quarte, and have never had aproblem donating. Today I went to donate and could not because my blood pressure was too high. The lady said it could have a little to do with my two cups of coffee and bottle of coke I drank this morning, because of the caffeine. But then I also remembered that I took Sudafed PE last night for a bad headache. It is maximum strength Sinus & Allergy formula. I took one does at 6 pm, then another at 11 pm and tried to donate at noon today. Could this effect my blood pressure? I usually stay away from ANY medications for at least three days before a donation, but I just completely forgot, probably because my headache was so bad I was not thinking.
