I’ve got major sinus pressure going on. The discomfort goes from behind my right eye down to my teeth. When I tried to eat this mourning I couldn’t chew on the right side of my mouth. I’ve been sick about all week, but since I’ve also had an eye infection in both eyes and totaled my car this week alone, I wanted to see if I’ve one more thing to worry about.

They are normally so intense that I have to lie in a dark room or constantly apply counter pressure to my temples, forehead and sinus to alleviate the pain. I had tried all kinds of medication and herbal relief including paracetemol, migraine medication, extra strength pain killers and sinus related headache medication.
My diet is balanced and healthy, and I get ample sleep.

No medicine helps. Not IBProfin, not aspirin, not Tylenol. I’ve tried drinking lots of water. I did have a bad cold for 2 weeks and I took sinus medicine last night which did not help at all.

This is driving me nuts. Are there any secrets or tricks to getting rid of a headache?

I have a carbon monoxide detector. It’s not that high tech though it just beeps if it detects any, but I do have one. I think I maybe should check out the fridge though that’s a good idea. Also, I do have 2 windows that are growing mold in the living room, but those are getting replaced next week. I’m checking out the fridge now and buying a new pillow. Thanks guys.

i do wear contacts/glasses but they are my correct prescription.
and i also have about three sinus infections a year.
idk im like always sick…

But what could be causing the headaches, im not too stressed,i dont drink that much caffine,it doesnt feel severe enough to be a migraine(though i prolly wouldnt know).

It’s mainly in the temples (one or both sides), then moves behind one or both eyes. I get nausiated as well (about an hour after I start to feel pain). It gets worse and ends either a few hours later, or when I got to bed. Light makes it worse, and motion.
They come off and on. Sometimes not for weeks, then sometimes a few times a week. I have no idea what triggers them. No warning at all. I have tried to figure out if it is lack of sleep, change in exercise, or diet, but no pattern yet.
I just need to know if it is migranes, tension headache, sinus pain.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
My husband says he thinks it is when I’m having my period… Didn’t know that could trigger it. Good to know, I’ll look out for that.
